Important Considerations and Precautions

Install protective end covers on the outer exposed edges of the last base unit on the DIN rail to prevent dust ingress and protect backplane contacts from electrical shorting.

Verify that base units are firmly locked onto the DIN rail to prevent mechanical movement that could compromise backplane contact integrity under heavy vibration.

Do not insert or remove functional modules from the basis unit while system power is applied unless the specific base and module combination is explicitly certified for live hot-swapping.
